Overview
Jita Kyoei (pronounced ji-ta-key-oy), is a Japanese phrase that means mutual welfare and benefit. It refers to the respect he felt one should have for others and the genuine interest in seeing them succeed. Inspired by Japanese vernacular graphics and designed for family and friends, this t-shirt and poster series stands as a playful but poignant reminder of how all creatures great and small should treat each other.

Proceeds from the sale of  shirts and posters went to the Humane Society of the United States, the Michigan Humane Society, Warm Training Center, Food Gatherers, the Alpha House and Central Detroit Christian Corporation… important organizations making a difference in people’s (and animal’s) lives.
